“Smile”

Tonight,

I looked up to Heaven

and saw

the Universe,

in your smile.

I heard the planets,

in your voice

and,

felt drawn,

to listen,

for a while,

to the macrocosm

of Wisdom,

which fell

from your mouth,

with, extragalactic, Grace.

Mirrored,

by the luminosity,

gently, whispered,

across

your, glorious, face.

An entirety,

of genius,

expressed,

in, fewest, words..

In, simplest, terms,

complexities,

came pouring down,

to Earth.

Inspired,

by His Deity.

not, one, meaning,

was deferred.

Not, one significance,

referred,

nor, delegated.

Every lesson, heard.

Impossibles,

articulated.

Not, judged as,

out of reach,

or, absurd.

With my eyes,

directed, skyward,

they grew misty,

became, blurred.

For,

this moment,

so, well-rested,

on the chaise-longue,

of my Soul,

caused,

my, Spirit-centred, Freedom.

The Celestial,

had hold,

of all I am,

and,

all I’d hoped,

to be.

With one, brief, look,

all of you,

met,

all of me

and,

your Eternal smile,

uncovered,

ageless,

endless, Mystery.

This, shortened, glimpse,

into the Timeless,

meant,

your Love,

changed

how I see.
