“Lonely Girl”

by A_F_R_O_W

I am

a painted prayer.

Seated, alone,

I spy the Earth,

from gilt-edged galaxies

and watch it glow,

beneath a bursting sun.

I barely know it, now.

where clouds,

were angels’ whispers,

brittle atmospheres,

are sewn together.

As rain falls apart,

tears float, Heavenward..

Dreams, evaporate…

Butterfly kisses,

have become, near misses…

a distant Voice,

rings Change.

… and,

through the

compass of Celestial Covenant,

is to be

reset, renewed

lovingly, rearranged..
